ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - The former site for Happy's Flea Market is still looking for a new owner to take over.

The flea market closed last year after city inspectors found the building dangerous for customers and vendors.

The 11 acre site is being sold for $2.2 million; however, the realtor for the company said the price may go down to create more interest.

"Whatever a buyer wants to do with it after they purchase it is really not our concern," says Quinn Thomas, Woltz and Associates. "Our basic feel is that because of the cost to demolish a building it's not economically feasibly to do that but that's the buyers decision."

The property is zoned as commercial.
