ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - The third annual Big Brothers Big Sisters Over the Edge fundraiser kicked off Friday and WSLS 10's Rachel Lucas and Jonathan Kegges took the ropes.

The two Virginia Today co-anchors laughed all the way to the top of the building, but not back down.

Of course, this is all for a good cause helping match at risk kids with mentors.

"Over the Edge is so important because this has allowed us to match almost you 250 new kids. We are just a few donations away from grossing in $250,000 with this event over three years," explained Jessica Turley, Fund Development Director.

Along with raising money, Over the Edge helps to recruit "bigs" to the program.
