PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY (WSLS 10) - The Pittsylvania County Sheriff's office has confirmed it is investigating the death of a Pittsylvania County woman.
The Pittyslvania County Sheriff's Office said its an "active death investigation."

They said Brittany Lambert, 25, was found dead Saturday near 8100 East Gretna Road in Pittsylvania County.
The Sheriff's Office said it has not ruled her death as a homicide or a suicide at this time.
Lambert's body has been transported to the medical examiner's office for an official cause of death.
