ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - Carilion Clinic and LewisGale Regional Health System faced off in their annual charity softball game. The friendly competition helps raise money for the American Heart Association.
The softball game took place at Cave Spring High School. Teams battled it out for bragging rights and to help a good cause.

"With the funds raised we will be able to provide quality community educational programs in our region as well as fund critical life saving research," said Elizabeth Vail, American Heart Association.
It was a high scoring game with LewisGale topping Carilion Clinic 12 to 11.
