ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - Construction for a firing range at SafeSide Tactical in Roanoke is officially underway.
When it's finished this fall, the range will be the longest in the commonwealth and possibly the East Coast.

Each lane will have new technology and targets to train people when and when not to use a gun.
"This is several years in the making and we have a great customer base. We would like to thank our customers since we've been in our little postage stamp store," said Mitchell Tyler, with SafeSide Tactical.
SafeSide Tactical plans to work with businesses and law enforcement agencies for training at the facility.
