AMHERST COUNTY (WSLS 10) - A Madison Heights man is dead after a crash early Friday morning.
Keith B. Harris, 36, died after the crash on Route 163, north of Early Drive at 12:36 a.m.
Harris was driving a 2015 Ford Focus going north on Route 163 when he ran off the right side of the road, struck the guard rail, went over it, overturned and struck several trees, according to state police.
Police say he was not wearing a seat belt and that both alcohol and speed were factors in the crash, which remains under investigation.
