(WSLS 10) - Several communities in southwest Virginia will hold Juneteenth celebrations this weekend. It commemorates the end of slavery in the U.S. Celebrations take place in Christiansburg at Rosa Peters Playground and at the Booker T. Washington National Monument in Hardy.

The Roanoke Children's Theatre performs "Rapunzel: The Musical" this weekend as part of the 2016 Summer Arts Festival. There are shows Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. in the Studio Theatre in the Squires Student Center at Virginia Tech.

Head to Collinsville for the 11th annual Poker Run. In addition to the ride, there is a raffle, door prizes and a Father's Day Bash. Registration begins at 11 a.m. at the Collinsville Fraternal Order of Eagles with the ride beginning at 1 p.m. A $10 donation is required to take part with proceeds benefitting the American Cancer Society.

If you're a fan of classic cars, head to Wildwood Farms in Floyd County for a Cruise-in and music Jam this weekend. On Saturday night, enjoy a performance by Marshall Brothers and High Road. Then on Sunday, there will be a cruise in from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Rocky Mount is home to the 13th annual Southwest Virginia Antique Farm Days this weekend. The event features an antique tractor pull, chainsaw and crosscut competitions and more. It's Friday through Sunday at the Franklin County Recreation Park. Admission is $6.
