Two injured in Danville shooting, cars and apartments with bullet damage

DANVILLE (WSLS 10) - Two people were taken to the hospital after being shot Wednesday night.

At about 10:42 p.m. Wednesday, Danville Police responded to a reported shooting at apartments in the 100 block of North Hills Court. A 19-year-old man had been shot multiple times and was taken to Danville Regional Medical Center.  Police say a 19-year-old woman, arrived at the Danville Regional Medical Center by personal vehicle after being shot once during this same incident.

Early Thursday morning, police reported the man in stable condition.

Police say multiple parked vehicles and apartment buildings have damage from bullets in this incident.

The police investigation is continuing.
