DANVILLE (WSLS 10) - The Danville Fire Department responded to a house fire Sunday afternoon.

The Department said it happened at 668 Holland road around 4:30 p.m.

According to Chris Key, Battalion Chief, when crews arrived they found light smoke coming from the back of a small one story house.

They found a fire on the back porch that extended to the back of the house.

Key said no injuries were reported and the outside of the house sustained moderate damage with no extension into the house.

According to Key, the fire was caused by discarded smoking materials.
