Reward offered for information after dog found in Amherst County dumpster

AMHERST COUNTY (WSLS 10) - The Amherst County sheriff's office is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in an animal cruelty case.

According to a news release, a dog was found in a dumpster at the Coolwell Road trash collection site on Monday around 12:53 p.m.

Veterinarians tried to save the dog, but it had to be euthanized.
