BEDFORD COUNTY (WSLS 10) - Lightning is the cause of two morning house fires in Bedford County.
Firefighters say the first happened just after 9:30 a.m. Thursday in the 1000 block of Wingfield Drive in Goode.

According to the fire marshal's office, the house had $30,000 in damage.
Bedford County Fire-EMS crews say the second fire happened about 30 minutes later in the 3600 block of Patterson Mill Road in Thaxton.
Damages are estimated at $10,000.
No one was hurt in either fire.
