COVINGTON (WSLS 10) - The Alleghany Highlands YMCA is offering its facilities to flood victims who need to take showers. Men's, women's and family/special needs locker rooms are available, staff said.
The Y is located at 101 YMCA Way, just off of I-64 in Low Moor. For drivers coming from the direction of Callaghan and West Virginia, take I-64 exit 21, turn left and cross over interstate 64; turn left onto Winterberry Avenue; then take the first right onto Commerce Center Drive.
Organizers said they have soap, shampoo and limited number of towels. They are accepting donations of clean towels, washcloths and other toiletries for use by those who may need to stop in for a hot shower. The Y also offers free Wi-Fi and access to computers if needed.

8 am - 6 pm on Saturday
1pm - 6 pm on Sunday
5:30 am - 9 pm Monday through Friday
