FLOYD COUNTY (WSLS 10) - One local business is making a difference for the woman who lost her husband and house in February's tornado in Appomattox.

After seeing our story on Rebuilding Hope for Nancy Harris, Bill St. Pierre called God's Pit Crew offering to help.

St. Pierre is the owner of St. Pierre Woodworking and Sawmill in Floyd and is building an entertainment center for Nancy's new home.

"She lost so much. It's just an entertainment center. It's not going to bring everything back for her, but every little bit helps and we're just thankful to be a part of that," he explained.

The Rebuilding Hope project between WSLS 10, God's Pit Crew and Spirit FM is officially kicking off on Monday July 18.
