ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - You may notice something different if you're in Roanoke's West End neighborhood.

An 18-foot sculpture, Dancing with Time, is now at the intersection of Patterson and Campbell.

The artist, David Caudill, said it's meant to serve as a beacon for the neighborhood and the revitalization of the area.

"The idea of dancing with time to me says that to embrace everyday as an opportunity to live in a joyful way and to have a lot of fun everyday. That's the essence of life," explained Caudill.

The project was funded by Community Development Block grant funds and was commissioned by the Roanoke Arts Commission.
