Rockbridge Co. community bands together for WVa flood victims

ROCKBRIDGE CO. (WSLS 10) -The Rockbridge County community is working together to send donations to Greenbrier County flood victims.

Local churches, emergency management and government leaders have joined together to collect for areas in need after devastating floods in West Virginia..

Items most needed include water, food, baby items, emergency supplies including blankets, shovels, toiletries, hand tools, dehumidifiers, tents, sleeping bags, air mattresses, camping supplies, light bulbs, extension cords, sump pumps throw rugs, duct tape as well as volunteer labor. Money donations are also being accepted.

Donations can be dropped off at Faith Mountain Baptist Church in Lexington at 270 Valley Pike.
