APPOMATTOX COUNTY (WSLS 10) - Â The Appomattox County Sheriff's Office arrested a Lynchburg man on two counts of rape on Sunday.
The sheriff's office says Jesus Hernandez, 29, of Moseley Drive, knew both the victim, a girl under 13 years old, and her family.

The two alleged rapes happened between January 1, 2016 and June 30, 2016 at a private residents in the county.
