BLACKSBURG (WSLS 10) - The town of Blacksburg is asking the community to voice its opinions on the future of a dangerous intersection.

Town leaders will present an open house Monday evening from 4-7 p.m. at the Blacksburg Community Center.

Representatives will answer questions on proposals for a grade separated interchange at North Main Street and 460.

This has been the site of multiple deaths and injuries over the last ten years.

Leaders have come up with several different plans. Each one differs in where exactly the interchange comes in, and what roads they connect with.

Town council will submit a final proposal in September, and should find out next year if the Commonwealth Transportation Board will fund the project.
