APPOMATTOX COUNTY (WSLS10)-- As work continues on the Rebuilding Hope Home in Appomattox, new messages are showing up in and outside of the home.

Scripture written in the framework

Last week, some inspiring bible verses were included in the framework and foundation inside of the home-- those messages were written by a local youth group in God's Pit Crew warehouse.

After a message of peace during the home dedication ceremony on Friday, new words of encouragement are now showing up.

"Later that day it started showing up on the floors and the walls, these sayings, 'This is a place of peace,'" says Randy Johnson with God's Pit Crew. "I thought it was really neat. That's what we hope for Nancy, after all that she's lost and with her husband gone, we hope this will be a place of peace for her. We want it to be a place where she can make new memories."

All of those messages will be sealed into the home as the drywall, flooring and shutters are built up around them.
