Lynchburg Police searching for woman following early morning stabbing

LYNCHBURG (WSLS 10) - The Lynchburg Police Department responded to 1017 Knight Street Saturday morning at approximately 1:48 a.m. to a report that someone had been stabbed. After arriving on the scene, officers located Rubin Lawrence Felder, a 52-year-old resident of Lynchburg, inside the residence with a stab wound to his arm. Felder was transported to the hospital and was last listed in critical condition.

Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that Felder's girlfriend, Sharon Lynette Jefferson, a 45-year-old resident of Lynchburg, had stabbed Felder during an argument. An arrest warrant was obtained for Jefferson on a charge of Malicious Wounding. Jefferson is still at large.
