WSLS 10 News Staff – HENRY CO. (WSLS 10) - People in Henry County are raising awareness about an unsolved murder.
The Jennifer Short Memorial Ride took place Saturday morning at Victory Baptist Church in Fieldale.

The 14th annual event not only raises awareness, but money for scholarships for local high school students.
The case made national headlines in 2002 when Jennifer's parents, Michael and Mary Short were found shot to death in their home.
The nine year-old's remains were found six weeks later in North Carolina.
Investigators shifted their focus last year, saying they thought Jennifer was the intended target.
