The freshmen will be training for a week, learning how to use a rifle and all the essentials of being a cadet.

Upperclassmen are glad to be able to help the students transition.  "It feels surreal, honestly, to be welcoming the freshmen, as a senior now, said Corps of Cadet member Tiffany Borden.  "It feels like yesterday I was here a a freshman.  My dad texted me today and said don't forget to say goodbye for the first time.  Don't be afraid to hug a crying mom.  It's awesome."

The incoming freshmen will have a parade next Saturday to show their parents what they have learned.
