Police looking for suspects in two armed robberies in Danville

DANVILLE (WSLS 10) – The Danville Police department are investigating two overnight robberies in the City.

The first 9-1-1 call reporting a robbery came in at 10:55 p.m. Saturday night at Hardee's located at 1314 West Main Street.

An employee told police a man came into the store with a small chrome or stainless steel automatic handgun and demanded money.

He is described as white, approximately 40 years of age, 6'0", medium build with red hair.

The Suspect was wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.

The Suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash and left the store.  There were no injuries in that incident.

The police investigation is continuing.

At approximately 11:15 PM, Danville Police responded to another reported robbery in the 2000 block of West Main Street.

The victim called police and said he had been robbed after a "hard object" was held against their head.

The victim said the suspect sounded like a man, but was not able to give police details about the suspect or the weapon.

The man took only money from the victim who was uninjured.

The robbery is still under investigation.
