WYTHE COUNTY (WSLS 10) - Virginia State Police are investigating a multi-vehicle crash. Authorities said, around 1:01 p.m., Sunday, Virginia State Police responded to a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 81 at the 64 mile marker in Wythe County. More than a dozen vehicles including several tractor-trailers were involved in the chain-reaction crash that occurred in the northbound lanes of I-81.
Officials said there were only minor injuries reported. It was raining heavily at the time of the crash which remains under investigation.
