CHRISTIANSBURG (WSLS 10) - Firefighters responded to a house fire in the Lion's Gate subdivision on Lion's Drive in Christiansburg early Monday morning.

The Christiansburg Fire Chief said the call came in at 5:55 a.m. to the 1700 block of Lions Drive.

She says one person was inside sleeping on the couch when an alarm woke them up. They went upstairs and found a fire in the bathroom exhaust fan. It spread up through the attic and to the roof trusses. There's also damage to the siding on both sides of the house.

She says there's more than $150,000 in damage to the home.

It reportedly took about 20 minutes to get the fire under control.

A cellphone video sent to WSLS 10 on twitter earlier this morning shows firemen at the scene of the fire.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
