Dorel Juvenile recalls Step and Go stroller due to safety hazard

(WCBD) Dorel Juvenile, in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), is conducting a voluntary safety recall on the Safety 1st Step and Go Travel System.

The stroller tray folding mechanism may partially disengage on one side when an infant carrier is attached to the stroller. Stop using the stroller with the infant carrier immediately until the repair kit has been assembled to your product.

Dorel Juvenile will contact all registered owners and provide them with information on how to obtain a repair kit free of charge.

The model number being recalled is TR314. The affected strollers should not be returned to the retailers. Consumers with further questions may call at 866-762-3036Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST, or send an email to stepandgo@djgusa.com.
