HENRY COUNTY (WSLS 10) - Virginia State Police are investigating a crash that killed a man in Henry County.
Police say the crash happened on Sunday at 12:50 a.m., on Route 58, east of Route 695.
David W. Hankins Jr., 46, of Axton, Va, was driving on Route 58 when he ran off the right side of the road. He overcorrected causing his pickup to cross back over Route 58 and overturn.
He was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle.
Police say he was transported to Martinsville Memorial Hospital, where he died later that morning.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
