Liberty University buys Fort Hill Shopping Center for $3 million
LYNCHBURG (WSLS 10) - Liberty University is expanding.
A subsidiary of Liberty University purchased the Fort Hill Shopping Center for about $3 million.
The new land will provide 600 additional parking spots for freshmen, as this class is the largest the school has ever had.
The school plans to make improvements to the lot in years to come by trying to attract more businesses to the center, which is currently about half full.
