Roanoke police investigating car shooting


ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - Roanoke police are looking for the person they say shot a 56-year-old woman's car on Tuesday night.

Police say the shooting happened in the 100 block of Whitten Avenue NW at 9:35 p.m.

When police went to investigate, they found the woman was not hurt, but her car was damaged by apparent gunshots.

Several other witnesses heard the shots, according to police.

When officers searched they area, they did not find any suspects or shell casings.

The investigation is ongoing.
