ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - A new survey reveals more American adults are using pot as fewer people consider the drug to be harmful.

Experts say it's likely because dozens of states now allow medical marijuana. Four of them recently legalized pot for recreational use.

Overall marijuana use increased from more than ten-percent in 2002, to more than 13-percent in 2014.

Experts also say the number of people using it daily has nearly doubled.
