BRISTOL, Tenn. (WSLS 10) - With the Battle at Bristol on Saturday, fans said it is an atmosphere like no other.
The Valley Tribe of Virginia Tech was in full force. It is group of people that met years ago in college, and added to their tribe as they met fans tailgating through the years. Now, they are 125 strong.
"Virginia Tech 28, Tennessee 17," said the Valley Tribe's "Godfather" Mitch Webb.
Tennessee fans said their team will come in strong after last week's close call.
Crews said they have been working since the day after the Bristol NASCAR race to convert the indoor facilities into locker rooms for the teams.
