SMYRNA, Tenn. (WSLS 10) - We now know what caused a deadly Blue Angels crash in June.
The Navy says pilot error was primarily what caused the plane to go down in Tennessee, killing Pilot Marine Captain Jeff Kuss.
According to a new report, Kuss' jet was traveling too fast and too low as it transitioned to a different move.
Pilot Joel Sullivan said, "Things can go wrong really fast, and when you're in a fighter jet they go fast. You don't have a lot of options to work through, and you don't have a lot of time to work through those options"
The report goes on to say both fatigue and weather were contributing factors to the crash.
