When i asked about the misdemeanor charge that Superintendent John Keeler is still currently facing, the board simply said it couldn't discuss personnel matters and that the issue was "resolved".

According to online court records, Keeler still has a court hearing set for October 27.

The board held a closed session Tuesday afternoon to discuss the results of the internal investigation.

After the board made its motions to reinstate both employees, Board Chair Teresa Ellison declined to comment further.

"At the end of the meeting, we made two motions pertaining to the two employees and that's as much information as our board is allowed to give... Those two employees will be returning tomorrow," said Ellison.

The board also spoke with both Butler and Keeler separately Tuesday afternoon, both of whom before then were not allowed on school property.

The investigation began back on September 6th.

Nobody that attended Tuesday offered any public comment, but people in Buena Vista will have another opportunity to do so at the board's regularly scheduled meeting this Thursday night.
