ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - Say hello to Tater!
This gentle boy is an 8-year-old Beagle mix who loves being outside!
While in the care of the Roanoke Valley SPCA, they noticed his front leg from the wrist down started to swell.
After having an x-ray performed, they discovered tiny fragments from buckshot that were still inside his leg and in parts of his chest.
Even though Tater is always excited to go on walks, he needs breaks to keep him comfortable, but like any seasoned Beagle, he enjoys naps in the afternoon, a good sniff in the yard and treeing a squirrel every now and again.
Tater is neutered, weighs 30 pounds and has been microchipped, vaccinated and heartworm tested.
Stop by and visit Tater at the Roanoke Valley SPCA between Noon and 6 p.m. today!
