Thousands expected to attend Donald Trump rally in Roanoke

ROANOKE (WSLS 10) – Thousands are expected to attend as Donald Trump campaigns in the star city Saturday.

The republican presidential nominee will hold a rally Saturday night at the Berglund Center.

The event starts at 6 p.m. and doors open at 3 p.m..

This is Trump's second visit to Southwest Virginia in the past few months.

He and his running mate, Governor Mike Pence held a town hall at the Hotel Roanoke in July.

Before Trump's rally Saturday night, the Clinton campaign is holding an event outside the Berglund Center Saturday afternoon. It's set to start at 2:30 p.m.
