DANVILLE (WSLS 10) - Centra's new, consolidated medical center is now open in Danville.
Prior to the medical center opening, Centra's services were in multiple offices scattered throughout the city.
The new, roughly $14 million building houses all of the services except for Prime Care East, which is still located on Airport Road.
Centra leaders said patients are relieved to have this convenience.
"They're very excited to have just this facility alone where they can come to one place is what we've heard has been the common theme; to have all of their care done right here under one roof," said Shannon Knight, the site administrator for the Danville and Gretna Medical Centers.
The primary care service at the new medical center runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The walk-in service runs from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week.
