ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - Roanoke City police confirm one person has been shot on Courtland Road in Roanoke.
It happened in the 3100 block of Courtland Road at about 4:30 a.m.
Courtland Road is closed off by police from 10th Street to Short street.
School buses are not coming through the area and parents are walking their children to the stop further up the street.
