WYTHEVILLE (WSLS 10) - Wytheville is getting ready to find out who two of its newest businesses will be.
On Tuesday, the town will host its start-up competition finale. Entrepreneurs will present their business ideas to judges. The winner will receive $10,000 to launch a business in downtown. The runner-up gets $5,000.
Last year, three businesses started downtown thanks to the competition. This year, leaders are expecting three to four.
Downtown Wytheville Incorporated is working to recruit what it is calling an anchor business to move downtown in 2017.
