Committee formed to examine improvements to Williamson Road

ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - A newly-formed committee hopes to bring positive changes to Williamson Road.

She said the committee, which is made up of 11 people, including neighborhood presidents, business owners and city officials wants to examine ways to make upgrades to Williamson Road. Jones said ideas include better lighting and accommodations for cyclists and pedestrians.

"This is the time for us to gather ideas what would you like to see on Williamson Road," said Jones. "What improvements would you like to see? This is the time to get your positive feedback in."
