INDEPENDENCE (WSLS 10) - A former Grayson County school band director faces a sexual battery charge.
The case against Donald Munsey was filed in court January 24.
According to school leaders, Munsey resigned from his band director position January 19.
School leaders also said the incident in question did not involve a student or a minor.
Sexual battery is a misdemeanor and punishable by up to a year in jail.
Munsey is scheduled to appear in Grayson County District Court on May 8.
