RADFORD (WSLS 10) - A four-legged police officer in Radford will receive a bullet and stab-proof vest, thanks to an anonymous donor.
K-9 Max will receive his new gear in about two months from the non-profit organization Vested Interest in K9s.
The group has donated more than 2,300 protective vests, worth nearly $2 million, to police dogs across the country.
Max's vest is valued at about $2,000.
