CHRISTIANSBURG (WSLS 10) - Officials say a car crashed into the back of a Montgomery County Public Schools bus Thursday morning.

It happened at about 9:09 a.m., on North Franklin Street at the railroad crossing.

Officials say a bus driver and nine high school students were on board. No one on the bus was reported injured.

The driver of the car, Joshua A. Eckstein, 34, of Christiansburg, was taken to LewisGale Hospital Montgomery with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.

He was charged with following too closely and was released on a summons.
