HENRY COUNTY (WSLS 10) - A Henry County man will spend 23 years behind bars for his role in the death of two brothers in 2014.

James Moore was sentenced Wednesday afternoon.

In December 2016, he was convicted of first-degree murder and use of a firearm during the commission of a felony for the shooting deaths of Alfonso and Noel Navarro-Pena in 2014.

According to the Henry County Commonwealth Attorney's Office, the judge affirmed the jury's recommended sentence and sentenced Moore to 20 years for first-degree murder and three years for use of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

The second suspect, Jonathan Rivera-Olvera, is scheduled to go to trial in June.

He is charged with two counts each of first-degree murder and use of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
