Early morning stabbing in downtown Roanoke

ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - Police were called to the scene of a stabbing Sunday morning at 1:21 am on the corner of Jefferson St. and Campbell Ave.

One man, 27-year-old Justin Quick (pictured above), has been charged with malicious wounding and is being held at the Roanoke City Jail.

The sole vitcim, 50-year-old David Claytor, was taken to Roanoke Memorial hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
