Demolition of Pulaski church set after January fire

PULASKI (WSLS 10) - Demolition is set to begin within the next few weeks nearly two months after a church was destroyed by fire in Pulaski.

The January fire at Pulaski Church of God leveled the sanctuary and gutted part of another building.

Church officials say they're hoping they can be back on the property by Easter Sunday.

The church is working with architects to plan the new sanctuary.

Investigators say the fire damage is estimated at more than $2.5 million.
