It's the 83rd annual gala and dinner and there are still a limited amount of tickets left. The event will feature music from A-Town, A-List from Atlanta.

A number of different awards will be given out including Educator of the Year and Law Enforcement Officer of the Year from both Roanoke County and Salem.

Proceeds from the event will go toward scholarships for high school students and mid-level career professionals.

"So many people who have helped us with the chamber, be it members or volunteers. It really is the whole reason why we are able to exist," said Executive Director Jill Sluss.

The gala starts at 6 p.m. at Hotel Roanoke on Friday, March 10. Daytime Blue Ridge's Natalie Faunce and Brittany Flowers are emceeing the event.
