ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - As snow begins to fall in other parts of the country, flights have been canceled and it's expected to get much worse as the system builds and moves to the northeast.

Right now, at the Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport, all flights coming in and leaving are on time right now.

There were a few cancellations on Monday morning going for flights going to Chicago.

On Tuesday, the 8:25 am flight to Philadelphia is cancelled because of the weather.

Passengers waiting for their flights to California and Daytona Beach said they're happy to be flying out to warmer weather before the snow arrives.

If any flights are impacted, if will be after midnight. Airport officials advise travelers to check with their airline to see if they were any changes.
