ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - The popular donut chain is planning to open in Roanoke.
The company, which opened its first store in Kitty Hawk, N.C. in 2007, is planning to open a shop on Electric Road in the Promenade Park Shopping Center (3564 Electric Road, Unit 18, Roanoke, VA 24018).

There are currently 13 Duck Donuts in Virginia with multiple preparing to open across the state. The company's first franchise location opened in Williamsburg, Va. in 2013.
Duck Donuts has not announced a date for when it's Roanoke location will open.
