Highland County farm owner fined $90 for dead horse

HIGHLAND COUNTY (WSLS 10) -  A Highland County farm owner was found guilty on animal cruelty charges on Wednesday.

Bob Moyer was fined $90 and must give up his other horses, according to the Highland County Sheriff.

As we first reported, the charges stemmed from an incident back in January when one of Morley's horses was found dead on his farm.

The vet determined the horse's death was related to chronic malnutrition and lack of proper shelter and medical care.
