Liberty University to host Republican gubernatorial debate
LYNCHBURG (WSLS 10) - On Thursday, April 13, Liberty University will host a debate for the Republican candidates vying for nomination for Virginia governor.
Ahead of the June 13 Republican primary, candidates Ed Gillespie, Corey Stewart, and Frank Wagner have confirmed attendance for the debate.
The event will be hosted by the new Center for Law and Government and will be held at the new state-of-the-art concert hall at Liberty's Center for Music and the Worship Arts.
The event is free and the public and media are invited to attend. Doors will open at 6 and the audience must be seated by 6:45.
