Two arrested as Danville police seize marijuana, guns and more

DANVILLE (WSLS 10) - Danville police arrested two people after executing a search warrant on Tuesday.

Danville investigators and patrol officers working with the Regional Narcotics Task Force executed a narcotics distribution search warrant at a residence in the 1400 block of Claiborne Street, according to a news release from the department.

From the residence, police seized about 10 ounces of marijuana, two digital scales, $961, the synthetic narcotic K-2, a Smith & Wesson firearm and a replica firearm.

Police also charged two people in connection with the search.

Khajuan Watkins faces a charge possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance and possessing a dangerous narcotic while possessing a firearm.

Tykeisha Smith faces a charge of possession of marijuana.
